Privacy, plainly.
How Blue Peak Digital handles your information, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
The short version: this website doesn’t track you. We only receive what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email, and we only use it to reply to you.
What we collect
When you send us a letter or email, we receive what you choose to include: usually your name, email address, phone number, business details and information about your project.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To deliver and support your website if you become a client.
- To send invoices and keep the records the law requires.
We never sell your information or add you to marketing lists without asking.
The tools on this site
The site planner and the self-check questions run entirely in your browser. The live site check sends the web address you enter to Google PageSpeed Insights, which loads that page to test it. The contact form sends your letter to us. Answers may be kept in your browser for the length of your visit so you don’t have to type them twice.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when the fonts load.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email hello@bluepeakdigital.co.za and we’ll respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
