Home / Site check
How high is your website?
Drop in your web address. We test it on a simulated phone with Google’s own engine, then tell you what’s slowing it down, in plain words.
That doesn’t look like a web address. Try something like your-business.co.za.
We couldn’t run the live test.
You can run the same test on Google’s site, or send us your address and we’ll check it by hand.

The common checks
Fix these first
Tested on a simulated mid-range phone with Google Lighthouse. Scores move a few points between runs. It can’t judge your words, photos or whether people trust you. That’s what the questions below are for.
Now look with your own eyes.
Speed tests can’t tell if your homepage makes sense to a stranger. These 8 questions can. Each one shows you how to check.

This part is a self-check, so it is only as good as your answers.
We’ll check it by hand.
Send us your web address. We look at real load times, how Google sees your pages and your schema, then send you the five changes that would help most. Free, in one working day. If small fixes are all you need, we’ll say so.
How accurate is this check?
The live test uses Google’s own Lighthouse engine on a simulated mid-range phone, the same test as PageSpeed Insights. Scores move a few points between runs, so look at the pattern, not one number.
Where does my web address go?
To Google’s PageSpeed Insights service, which loads your page and tests it. Nothing is sent to us unless you choose to send it.
What’s a good PageSpeed score?
90 to 100 is green, 50 to 89 is orange and under 50 is red. Mobile scores are usually lower than desktop. How fast it feels to real visitors matters more than the number.
What is the free hand check?
Send us your web address. We look at real load times, how Google sees your pages and your schema, then send you the five changes that would help most. In one working day.
Will you try to sell me a new website?
No. If a few small fixes are all you need, we’ll say so. Many sites don’t need a rebuild.

yours.
